We all spend so much time running around to get things done that we all deserve sometime to ourselves to relax and rejuvenate. There are many things that you can do to relax yourself and clear your mind. A spa night at home is a great and cheap way to achieve this. I usually have my spa nights on the weekend since those are the days that I typically have more time on my hands. Some people think that they do not have the time or it is a task to put together a spa night at home. You must remember that you always have time for what you want to make time for. Taking at least one night out of your week to relax is definitely something you should prioritize. Also I promise you that getting a spa night together is easy. All you have to do is gather some supplies, set it up and then relax. You will be so happy in the end that you took the time to pamper yourself because I assure you that you will feel refreshed and awakened.
Follow these steps and tricks to achieve the most relaxing spa night ever!
Set the mood
In order to achieve the most spa like atmosphere you only have to do a few things.
Turn off the lights
Turning off the lights will relax your mind. Turning off the lights allows you to close your eyes and clear your mind.
Light candles
Lighting candles in your bathroom or room is one of the most important aspects in making a spa like atmosphere. Choose both scented and unscented candles and put them all around the room. Make sure that the scent is one that you really enjoy. It will make you feel instantly calm.

Peaceful sounds
Put on some music to distract your mind while you are having your spa night. You can search spa music on Spotify or YouTube easily. It will make you feel like you are actually at the spa! Be sure to put on a soundtrack of whatever makes you feel the most relaxed, whether it be the sound of waves, calming acoustic music or the sound of a rainforest.

Now that you have set the mood you have to get the items required to pamper yourself. While at the spa you go to a number of different treatments, so why not do the same thing while at home. To gather the materials you need to think about some of the things that you want to do to pamper yourself such as having a bath, doing a face mask, or painting your nails. When I have my spa nights I separate my treatments by my whole body and my face.
Body
Have a bubble bath
Having a bubble bath is one of the most relaxing things that you can do. We don’t always have the time to take a bath everyday. Making the time to take at least one a week is definitely something that you deserve. Lush bath products are amazing products to use. They will change your bath experience forever! As soon as I used my first bath bomb I was hooked. Now I can not take a bath without them!

Bath Bomb
First fill your bath with warm water. Then drop in the bath bomb to enjoy its lovely colour and fragrance.

Bubble Bar and Bubbleroon
Both of these products make mountains of fluffy bubbles. Crumble under running warm water as you fill the tub to achieve this.
Exfoliate
While in the tub take sometime to exfoliate your skin. You skin will feel like a babies bottom after you do so. Trust me you won’t regret it!

Moisturize
Once you have finished your bath, a great way to pamper yourself is to spend sometime moisturizing your whole body. I promise you that your body will thank you in the end. Coconut oil and scented lotions are great options for effective moisturization. Lush products such as the massage bar is another alternative to creams to moisturize dry skin. I love using the massage bar. To use it all you have to do is glide the bar directly over dry skin and it will melt immediately. Then give yourself a massage to absorb the oils into your skin. Your body will be soft, pampered and feel great after the massage!
Mani/ Pedis
Pamper yourself by painting your nails. You can go full out and give yourself a full mani and pedi, meaning scrubbing the skin, filing and cutting your nails and toes or you can just simply paint them. Choose your favourite colour and you will be left with pretty nails for the next day.

Pyjama time!
On a typical night we all wear whatever t-shit and bottoms that we can find to bed and do not typically reach for the nicest pair that we have. Make this pamper session special and put on your nicest pyjamas set. You can even go even further and put on a nice silk robe and fluffy slippers.

Face
Skin Routine
During pamper nights you should take the time to really cleanse your skin and go through a full face routine. This usually includes a three or four step process, but do whatever works for you and your skin. You can start by washing your face with a cleanser. Once you have cleaned the surface of your skin you can go in with an exfoliating scrub to leave your skin soft and get rid of dead skin cells.

Once you are done giving your face a good wash you can pamper yourself even more and put on a nice and relaxing face mask. While you let the face mask sit you can do whatever relaxing activity that you want to do. It could be watching some TV, reading a magazine, or lying down and closing your eyes.

When the time for your face mask is up, wash it off with a warm wash cloth to relax your face. You can even choose to leave the warm wash cloth on your face for a few minutes which feels amazing! Once you have your face mask off it is time for toner and moisturizer. I would also recommend that before applying these two things to splash your face with cold water to close your pores to prevent any dirt from getting into them. After all of these things are done your face will feel super soft and refreshed.
Pamper routines are different for everyone depending on what you find relaxing and the amount time you have. These are just some of my ideas to use if you are looking for the perfect way to relax at home. Remember that everyone needs spa nights to rejuvenate after the long work week. I hope all of these tips were helpful and you all have wonderful spa nights.
