Hello everyone!

As many of you know I am kind of obsessed with handbags. I can spend countless hours searching for the best bags that are out there for the season. I tend to spend a lot of time looking at luxury designer pieces and then searching for less expensive alternatives from other designers. I do this because although it would be nice to be able to spend $1000 on a Gucci bag, it is just not possible for me right now. I decided to create a blog post about the Best Bags Under $500 to put all of my findings to good use as well as give me an excuse to look at even more handbags. The bags that I have included below are what I think are the best on the market right now that will not break the bank. I have chosen ones that look much more expensive then they actually are and that are great dupes for luxury designer bags. I hope you all enjoy!

When I first saw this Micheal Kors bag in store I knew that I had to include it in this post! The leather of this bag is super luxurious and the details add that perfect touch. This bag is such a classic shape that will be able to carry through many seasons. To me this Sylvie Satchel reminds me of the Hermes Birkin because of the shape and the hardware.

This is another bag that I saw in store and instantly fell in love with! This bag comes in many different colours so I’m sure you will find one to suit your preference.  For this season they have also came out with different patterns and prints for this bag. They have ones with cut outs (pictured above), patchwork and colour blocking! To me this bag is a great dupe for the Celine Nano Luggage but the best part is that its a quarter of the price!

Coach has always had such chic and classic bags. I feel that this Swagger Carryall 27 is classic but has a cool vibe to it as well. No matter what age you are this bag would work for you. Like the Micheal Kors Mercer, this bag comes in a variety of colours and sizes. I love the white one pictured above because it can be used throughout every season!

Marc by Marc Jacobs is the less expensive alternative to the Marc Jacobs line but still offers luxurious pieces. This Shutter Camera Cross body is super cute for the summer because of its small size and the beautiful vibrant colours it comes in. This bag would look so nice with a white summer dress and some lace up sandals.

If you are looking for a more neutral coloured bag compared to the Shutter Camera Cross body this one by Marc by Marc Jacobs is the perfect one for you. Similar to all of Marc Jacobs bags the leather on this one is absolutely amazing! It is so soft and it just gets better with use.

I decided to include this bag for those who want to jump on the backpack trend this season. This stripped one by Marc Jacobs is super fun and edgy. A backpack will allow you to have practicality and style, which is a win win. If this pattern is not your style Marc Jacobs also offers this bag in a solid colour.

Tory Burch never fails to come out with such beautiful bags. When they have the Gemini links I am even more obsessed with them. This bag comes in a variety of colours and if you don’t mind spending a bit more it comes in a gorgeous summery print as well. This bag screams both a mix of Dior and Gucci to me.

 T-Satchel 

Another great find I came accross while searching through the Tory Burch website was this T-Satchel.  This bag reminds me of both the Birkin and the Celine bags with the flap. This bag can be worn on the nook of the arm or cross body depending on what you are doing and the look you are going for.
