Creative Ways To Make Money

Hello everyone,

Money is what makes the world go round. As students it is hard to have constant income to rely on each month due to school taking up a huge portion of our time. Although having a job is the fastest way to earn money it is not always the easiest.  I know that I personally have a hard time having a job as well as keeping up with school.  To help out those who have a similar problem I have put together some ideas that I have been using to make some extra money that I hope will help you all out as well.

Sell your clothes

One of the best ideas that I have come up with is to sell your clothes. As we are approaching a new season take the time to go through all of your clothes and decide which items you want to keep and which ones you want to sell. Think about whether or not you have worn that item recently and if you haven’t then it would be a good idea to pass it along. This will not only clear up more space in your closet but will give you money to buy new items that you will enjoy more!

These are some of the places that I recommend:

Sell your designer pieces

This idea links with my first idea because while you are looking through all of your clothing and accessories if you have any designer pieces put those aside. By designer pieces I mean brands such as Micheal Kors, Coach or as even as luxurious as Channel. The reason I am telling you this is because you can sell these items on websites such as Lovethatbag.com and they will sell your item for top dollar. It is very simple, all you have to do is go to the website and fill out a consignment form that includes a picture of your item. You can sell designer handbags, shoes, watches, clothes etc.

These are some of the websites that I recommend and have sold with before:

Start a blog

Another great way to make money if you do not have a job is to start a blog. You can make great money by simply sharing your thoughts and being creative. I do admit that you have to spend a bit of money each year to actually make money from your blog. However if you are committed and driven to make your blog a success you will make more money back that you originally invested. In other words you have to spend money to make money.  If you want to test this out without loosing any money you can do a few months on a free plan first before going premium. Another thing that starting a blog could offer you is brand partnerships, which means that brands pay you to mention and review their products.

Surveys

A great idea for those of your who have a lot of free time on your hands is to sign up for websites that pay you to take surveys. These sites exist because research marketers for companies use these surveys as a way to see what consumers are looking for to meet their wants and needs. The surveys do take quite a bit of time to complete but if you are bored one day or are sitting on a bus you might as well make some money while doing it. My personal favourite site is Swagbucks.com which is a rewards program that pays you for watching videos, taking surveys, shopping and more. The more surveys you take the more swagbucks that you earn that you can turn into cash.

Become A Tutor

Another great idea to make money is to become a tutor for students at your school. If you are really good at a particular subject such as math, science or english then you can use your talents to make some money. You can put up some flyers around your school and even promote yourself on social media to encourage people to use your tutoring services. Simply set a rate per hour and watch the money roll in!
