I find that having inspiration can change my perspective on everything in my life. It affects how I plan my day, how motivated I am, and how I interact with others. Inspiration is such an important thing to find as it can push you to achieve your goals. Whether these goals are career goals, financial goals or health goals motivation and inspiration are needed in order to have the drive and passion to make them all a success. For me, inspiration is something that I lose really quickly if I am not seeing results. This causes me to be in a rut and put what I am trying to achieve aside. I know that this is the case for many other people as well. To prevent this from happening I really try to put methods in place to keep myself inspired as much as possible.
Spend a Day in the City

No matter what country you live in going to the closest main city near you will be your best bet in finding inspiration. The constant hustle of the city will awaken your mind to the endless possibilities life has to offer. I go downtown with my friends quite often and spend the day taking photos and visiting cool new places. One of my favourite places to do this is on Queen Street West in Toronto. This area is super trendy with amazing restaurants and places to shop. There are also so many one of a kind stores and secret spots that make the vibe of the area super fun. This is just an example but going anywhere in a city will give you inspiration due to the new surroundings. Take your time to scope out new places, try new foods and take in the architecture. I assure you once you leave your heart will be filled with all the inspiration you need to achieve your goals.
Spend a Day by the Water

If the city is not your thing winding down by a beach or lake is another way to motivate and inspire you. Sometimes the reason you lack inspiration is because you are so stressed out that you lose the meaning in what you are trying to achieve. By taking the time to clear your mind of all the things that you have to do can, in the end, awaken you to new ideas and thoughts that you would not have had otherwise.
Reward Yourself

This is another tip that works best for me because although my end goal may take months to achieve hitting certain milestones and rewarding myself for it on the spot is a reminder to myself to keep going. A lot of times when we want to achieve something it takes so long that we just give up due to the fact that we cannot actually see or have the end result in our hands right away. By allowing yourself to get the pair of shoes you have been wanting or that new perfume that just came out will give you a tangible reminder that your hard work is paying off with each milestone that you hit.
Make a Vision Board

This is a tip that I have tried time and time again and it never really seemed to work for me until I turned the idea of a vision board up 5 notches. Whenever I would create a vision board I would tape it on a wall in my room and only look at it from time to time. I thought that this wasn’t very effective and came up with the idea of putting it in places that I see most. This includes on my phone, on my laptop, and on my mirrors. These are all places that I look most often, especially as I am starting my day giving me that extra boost of inspo right in the morning. I suggest that everyone makes a vision board of all the things that they want to achieve in life both now and in the distant future. This can be done through pictures on Pinterest, Instagram, We Heart It etc and put it in a bunch of places that you know you look every day.
Motivation Monday
Another tip that I have to motivate and inspire you is to start giving yourself motivation on Mondays. What I mean by this is putting some time aside every Monday morning to go onto google or Pinterest to search some motivational quotes. Doing it on Monday will set a positive tone for the whole week but you can even do it every day if you want. By reading quotes you will instantly get inspired and motivated. My favourite quote of all time is “She Believed She Could, So She Did”. Every single time I read that quote I get so inspired and get a rush of girl power making me believe that anything I want to achieve is possible. Find the quote or quotes that do the same for you and I assure you that you will be 100x more inspired once you are done reading them.
