I’m back on my blogging game and ready to start writing posts for you all again! I thought what a better way to start then to write a post about all the amazing items I’ve discovered over the past few months. Due to the fact that I have a slight shopping addiction I’m very selective when it comes to the pieces that I purchase. I want to ensure they fit my style, vision and budget, while still being high quality items before I decide to swipe my card. These are all pieces I’ve found in unexpected places that I just had to share with you all.
When it comes to shopping in stores such as H&M and Zara it can be so overwhelming, therefore you need to prepare yourself to take the time to look through everything. Before I go into these stores I have to be in the right mind set to ensure that I am willing to take my time and search, as well as be creative in terms of how to style each piece. Once I do that I open myself to finding those rare items that fit and feel the best, that I otherwise would have overlooked.

H&M BLAZER

When browsing H&M’s website recently I noticed that they introduced a whole range of blazers for the upcoming fall season. You don’t have to spend hundreds of dollars to get a nice blazer due to the fact there are many lower priced alternatives on the highstreet. However, it’s important to be patient when finding the best one at the best price. Out of all the options H&M came out with this one was my absolute favourite. At $60 it feels way more expensive then it is due to the fabric providing an excellent fit. It even comes in mutliple color pallets depending on what your looking for.
H&M SWEATER
There is nothing worse then buying a sweater that is itchy or stretches out after the first wear. The key to avoiding this is to find sweaters that are primarly made of cotton. This however can get quite expensive. When I found this sweater hanging on the rack while checking out I didn’t even have to try it on to know that it was going to fit and feel great. This is solely due to the fact that it is made up of 90% cotton. I expected to look at the price tag and immedietly put it down but was shocked when I looked and it said $40. It was one of those lucky finds and an instant purchase in my book.
ARITZIA WILFRED FREE GANNA JACKET

This jacket has been on my wishlist since last fall when Aritzia origially introduced it. But of course since I seem to like the most popualr items, it sold out right away in the color that I wanted. I saw it styled so many ways by girls on Instagram and in stores and hoped that they would bring it back this season. My prayers were answered and I snatched it up right when it went live on the site. I think that this is worth every penny becuase it is just such amazing quality piece and can be worn so many different ways. In other words I’m obsessed. You can wear it open with some light wash jeans, a white tee and booties or it can also be worn with a belt to give it some shape which is a major trend this fall. You can also dress it down for class or day to day earrands by pairing it with leggings and some white sneakers.
SEYCHELLES HIDDEN AGENDA BOOTS

The western vibe is really in for this fall season so I knew I wanted to incorportate that trend in a pair of boots. In my search Urban Outfitters did not disappoint and I found these boots by Seychelles. They are the perfect balance of western and classic if the trend where to ever die out. I also love how they are real leather and look slightly worn in. Although buying leather is a bit more expensive I believe that it’s worth the money becuase they last so much longer and just get better with time. These boots have a more narrow fit which I think is so much more flattering becuase it elongates the leg and allows them to be worn with both skinny and wide leg pants.

Aritzia has brought out so many amazing new dresses for the fall season however this is one of my favourites. When I saw it online I was unsure of how it would fit but it did not disapoint in the slightest. The rouched bodest is so flattering and the flowy sleeves and skirt add a feminine vibe. I also love how this piece can become more edgy by simply adding a leather jacket and some riding boots as pictured. This dress is going be to a major staple in my wardrobe for the fall season.
