I have recently been introduced to a company called Kuki (kukicollection.com) who provide eco-friendly,  natural and high quality candles. After trying out their products for myself I could not be more excited to share my experience with you all!

ABOUT KŪKI

Kuki is a company that provides clean burning, aroma therapy candles that are handcrafted in Vancouver, British Columbia, Calgary and Alberta. It was started by Vanessa Morgan who had a love and curiosity for candles. After discovering that all that candles she loved were made out of toxic ingredients she was determined to find a solution and thus Kuki was born. MY EXPERIENCE

I could not be more pleased with my experience with Kuki. After they reached out I looked into the company and loved what they stood for. Eco-friendly, natural and high quality candles are hard to come by, especially without a high price tag. With the concerns for the environment being such a big topic today I think products such as these candles are a step in the right direction!

Kuki offers many scents including Cinnabun, Kermode, and Rainfall to name a few. I decided to go with Cinnabun as it was made with the notes of Cinnamon, Nutmeg and Vanilla which is right up my alley. I love warm and rich scents no matter the time of year.

The packaging was very aesthetically. I am someone who appreciates when extra time is put into presentation and Kuki did not disappoint. In addition the packaging was all eco-friendly.  There was also a personalized note which I thought was a lovely touch. As soon as I opened the box I was immediately hit by the wonderful scents of cinnamon, nutmeg and vanilla. I could not wait to enjoy using it.

I’m someone who likes to burn a candle in the morning, when I’m just relaxing and before I go to sleep, so that means a lot of burning time. Since Kuki candles are made out of soy wax not only do they burn cleaner, meaning you won’t get that gross black soot on the side of the jar, they also have a slower burning time.  This means that it lasts longer which to me is a total win!

The scent of the Cinnabun candle is amazing. It is such a comforting smell that fills up my entire room. It’s a small detail but I love that they have wood burning wicks. It makes the candle look and feel more luxurious and the sound is so calming to hear when I am doing work or reading a book. In addition, the candle burned evenly which is something that is really satisfying to see. It’s truly the little things.
