Hello everyone!
In light of everything that is going on in the world right now I know a lot of people are stuck at home unsure of how to pass the time. In addition to this are looking for a distraction from everything. Baking to me is something that calms my mind and distracts me from everything going on around me, no matter what it is with the bonus of having a sweet treat to enjoy afterwards. I thought that putting out my chocolate chip cookie recipe would be a great idea as they are so simple to make, require only a few ingredients and will hopefully put some smiles on peoples faces. I think we can all agree that sometimes something as simple as a chocolate chip cookie can brighten our moods. So I encourage you to take some time to bake away and let me know how they turn out by sending me pictures on instagram @alittletouchofgold!

Whenever I mention that I want to bake something to people they always ask for me to bake these chocolate chip cookies. When I do they never last for more then a day they are that good! They are soft on the inside and crispy on the outside which to me calls for the perfect chocolate chip cookie.
