Hello everyone!
Today’s post is my cinnamon roll cake recipe! This cake never lasts long it my house and to quote my brother, “I shouldn’t make anything else”. This recipe has three parts, the cake, the filling and the glaze. However it is super easy to make and is worth the time. Send me your photos to my instagram @alittletouchofgold if you try it out. Ingredients

For the cake
- 3 cups of all purpose flour
- 1 cup of granulated sugar
- 4 sp baking powder
- 2 large eggs
- 2 tsp vanilla extract
- 1 1/2 cups of milk
- 1/2 cup of butter melted
For the filling
- 3/4 cup of butter, softened to room temp
- 1 cup packed light brown sugar
- 2 tbsp of flour
- 1 tbsp group cinnamon
For the glaze
- 2 cups of powdered sugar
- 5 tbsp milk
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
INSTRUCTIONS
For the cake
- Preheat oven to 350 degrees farenhite
- Spray a 9 x 13 inch baking dish with non-stick cooking spray or butter
- In a large bowl of a stand mixer combine all the cake ingredient besides the melted and blend, be careful not to overmix
- While your mixer is running, add in your butter
- Mix until combined
- Spread your batter evenly into your baking dish

For the filling
- In a small bowl combine your soften butter, brown sugar, flour and cinnamon
- Stir until combined
- Put the filling into the cake batter in spoon fulls
- Take a butter knife and move the filling around to create a swirly marble effect all over the cake batter
- Bake the cake for 35-40 minutes
For the glaze
- Wish together powdered sugar, milk, vanilla extract in a bowl
- Pour the glaze over the warm cake once it is out of the oven
- Let it cool. Eat and enjoy!
