Hello everyone!
This month I thought I would put together a post of all my fashion, beauty, lifestyle and book favourites from this month. I am going to try to make these a regular thing each month in order to continuously share amazing finds with you. Hope you all enjoy!
FASHION
- Abercrombie Mom Shorts
- Roots Backpack
- White Converse
I am always online shopping trying to find the best items for my wardrobe as well as to share with you guys. These three items have been my go-to pieces this month! These Curve Love High Rise Abercrombie shorts are the perfect length so they are comfortable to wear all day. My exact pair is sold out but I linked the most similar pair that Abercrombie currently has. I have been loving the Curve Love range by Abercrombie because I can never find shorts that fit both my waist and legs. If you are someone who also struggles with this issue I would give these a try! I got my Roots backpack for my birthday earlier this month and I have not stopped wearing it since. It goes with every single outfit and is simply so cute. I love how it is a forever piece in my wardrobe and the 90s vibe it gives. Lastly, my Converse have been a fashion favourite of mine. These are leather so they are so easy to clean and I feel like they are an elevated version of the traditional Converse. You can wear them with jeans, shorts, and my personal favourite, summer dresses.
BEAUTY
- Laniege Sleeping Water Mask
- Buxom Lipgloss in Dolly
- Brazilian spray and creme set
My beauty favourites for this month are first my Laniege Water Sleeping Mask. I typically only use this in the summer months as it its super moisturizing. I got the lavender scented one and I love how relaxing the smell is as I’m doing my nighttime routine. Whenever I use this mask I always wake up with soft, hydrated and glowing skin. The next favourite I have this month is the Buxom Plumping Lip Cream Gloss in the colour ‘Dolly’. This has been my go-to lipgloss for months because it plumps your lips without having the burning sensation and the colour is the perfect pinky-nude. It is not too sticky and lasts for a long time. I knew I needed to share it with you all! My last beauty favourite of the month is the Sol de Janeiro Bum Bum cream, body spray and shower gel. The cream is so moisturizing and the overall smell of these products is heavenly and honestly worth every penny. I use them everyday as my perfect summer scent. You can also get the Bum Bum Jet Set if you wanted to try the mini versions of the product first which I have linked bellow!
LIFESTYLE
- Diffuser and day dream oil
- Growing plants
- Podcasts- The Morning Toast
My first lifestyle favourite of the month is my diffuser. I don’t know what it is about spring/summer but I can not longer light my candles. I find a diffuser so much lighter. My favourite thing to do has been getting a calming scent such as ‘Daydream’ by Sage and putting it on throughout the day while I work. I love that this diffuser is sleek looking and small so it doesn’t take up a ton of room. My next lifestyle favourite has been growing plants. I laughed at myself the other day while watering them cause I felt so old finding joy in gardening but in all honesty it is so relaxing. I can’t say I particularly have a green thumb but I am slowly making progress. This month I have also really been loving listening to Podcasts. I have mentioned this before but my current favourites are ‘The Morning Toast’ and ‘Mood’. I love The Morning Toast because it is pop culture news and the hosts Jackie and Claudia are so funny and upbeat making it the perfect way to start my day. I love Mood by Lauren Elizabeth because she gives great advice about mood boosters, and how to just achieve a more positive lifestyle overall.

BOOKS
- When Life Gives you Lululemon’s
- This is Not a Fashion Story by Danielle Bernstein
In the summer I always really get into reading and this summer is no exception. I am already onto my second book in two weeks which for me is a lot. The first book I read was ‘When Life Gives you Lululemon’s’ which is sequal to the Devil Wears Prade series. Since DWP is one of my all-time favourite movies I knew this book was right up my alley. I did a whole review on my instagram @alittletouchofgold if you wanted to hear my thoughts! I am currently reading ‘This is Not a Fashion Story’ by Danielle Bernstein. She is the founder of @shopweworewhat, with multiple clothing lines and the CEO of Moeassist. Danielle basically lead the way for bloggers and influencers. I have followed her for so long and cannot wait to read about her life story.
