MY FRIENDS PICK MY ZARA OUTFITS

Hello everyone,

I saw one of my favourite Youtubers Toni Sevdalis make a video where her friends picked her Zara outfits and thought it was such a fun idea. If you didn’t know I have my own styling service-Styled by ALTG where I put together looks for clients for any occasion. I thought it would be fun to flip the switch and have my friends and family style me. I asked my closest friends and family to put together an outfit that they felt I would wear using the pieces on Zara’s site. They had total creative freedom on what outfit to pick and I was beyond happy with what they picked out for me. Every outfit was truly something I would wear. They definitely know I love my neutral colours, minimalistic designs and gold accents. Keep reading to see what outfits from Zara my friends and family picked out for me and what I thought of each look.

STYLED BY SAMANTHA

I absolutely love this look! Samantha said she thought this would be the perfect look for me to wear for brunch with friends and I could not agree more. I love that the shirt is an elevated version of a classic white button up with the tie details. I am usually not someone to add any sort of colour into my looks but going into spring I have this strong pull towards fun colours that add an element of interest to an outfit. I think Samantha picked up on this with her selection of this gorgeous blue bag. I love a straight leg style jean and you can never go wrong with a classic white pump to tie it all together. This is for sure an outfit I would wear for a day out with the girls!

Fabi and me talk about fashion with each other all the time so I was not surprised when she put together an amazing look for me. Her inspiration behind this look was for a day a downtown, going into some vintage shops and stopping for some overpriced coffee in a trendy cafe (oh how I miss those days). I love the jeans that she picked out, they are the perfect 90s straight leg style and the wash of them can be paired with so many outfits. She knew I bought a similar pair of sandals a couple weeks prior so I love that she incorporated them into this look. This is definitely a very Laura outfit and I hope to wear it soon when we can go explore again!

Victoria said her inspiration for this look was a summer night at Cabana pool bar and I can totally see the vibes she was going for. I love that the look is neutral but again has that pop of colour with the top. I can just imagine how good a tan in the summer would look with this outfit. The pearl details in the earrings and shoes are not something I would usually gravitate towards but I think they are the only way to go with this look. They add a fun element to the outfit and the sandals are perfect for a night of dancing. Overall this is the perfect summer look that I can totally picture myself wearing!

Me and Sarah have very similar styles so I was not surprised when she nailed this look. I think it is so chic and gives me model off duty vibes. As I mentioned previously I love neutrals and minimalistic designs so this outfit is right up my alley. The mules are so chic and I love the necklace and earrings she picked. You can never go wrong with A Little Touch of Gold. I have pretty much all the pieces from this outfit already so I can’t wait to put it together and wear it. This is for sure an outfit I would wear day to night and is so me!

I absolutely love the look that Maddy put together for me. Leather pants are so on trend right now and you all know how much I love a shacket. I have actually never seen this style of mules on Zara’s website before, but I am so happy she found them because they are so chic and for sure something I would wear. The silky bralette top under the shacket is definitely very scandalous but I am not someone afraid to go out of my comfort zone when it comes to fashion. The earrings she picked give me such mejuri vibes and I love how they pair so well with the necklace she chose. This is such a me outfit and for sure something I would wear.

I am absolutely in love with all of the looks my friends put together for me. Styling someone is not easy but they all nailed it and definitely captured me and my style perfectly. They for sure know I love my gold jewelry, neutral colours, and denim. I could not thank them enough for doing this.
